The Nageswara Park is located in the Luz area of Chennai.
The garden was formed several decades back
in a much smaller scale. Over the years
it has improved in area and form by the
efforts of the Council formed to renovate
and beautify it. The Nageswara Park is now
marked wit a lot of greenery. It has a collection
of a huge number of rare trees and plants.
The park is also characterized by a huge
number of beautiful plants. The park is
well maintained and has a lot clean pavements
and benches to its credit. There are lots
of garden lights and fountains fitted
which adds to the extra charm of the park.
Nageswara Park acts as a perfect location
for a lot of movies.
There is also a special children’s
play area which is extremely well maintained.
The play area is maintained sincerely
by the corporation staff. There are a
lot of swings and slides of various sizes
for children. There are many other facilities
for children. The Park is open on all
days of the week. A walk along the sidewalks
of the Park forms part of the daily routine
of the residents living in and around
the park. As it is in the heart of the
city, it is easily accessible.
