Being a successful urbanized city, the
transportation network of Chennai is well
in order. Chennai has to its credit the
Chennai International Airport which serves
as the domestic and International airport.
Two major railway stations - One the Chennai
central and the other Egmore railway stations
are important. Suburban trains also ply
from Chennai. There is a well define bus
service run by the MTC which is a much
preferred mode of transportation within
the city.
